Today was our last day in Kenya. We got an early start and headed off to church to worship at Christian Life Worship Center Church. We were greeted by Pastor Tobias and given a quick tour of the church facility. Mike's World Mission International Bible School shares some space at the church, so we got a chance to see his office and some of the facility before the service started. This was our first service that we were able to experience as a whole team, and it was a great time to be able to worship with our brothers and sisters from Kenya. We were able to pass out the cards from our church members to the kids and young adults at church, as well as some special treats. They were really excited to receive the stickers, candy, and origami that we brought for them. The worship experience was great, as we were able to worship the same God in different languages. That's just how big God is, He transcends nationalities, languages, and ethnicities. We were given the opportunity to give the message at the service, so we started with the skit we prepared, and then Pastor Barry gave a sermon on Ephesians 1. He asked some of us to also help him to illustrate different points he wanted to highlight with testimony, so many of us got a chance to share as well. Pastor Barry really fit in, as his Africa preacher came out. It was a great time.
After service, we ate lunch at church, then headed straight to the airport for the long flight home. It was a great two weeks in Africa. Thanks for all of the support and prayers, we really felt God's covering over our team the whole trip!
