Today we were able to spend some more time with the extended Moiana and Bila families. We started the day off by checking out a local mall, and bought some snacks for the long car ride ahead. Then we made the trek to South Mozambique to visit Punto de Ouro, which means point of gold. At Punto de Ouro, we were able to go to a very nice beach, with fine sand and clear water. Other than it being a little windy, it was a great day at the beach. Damon even got in a run on the beach, just to say he ran in Mozambique. Before heading back to town for dinner, we had a quick barbecue chicken snack and learned some Mozambican card games, and played with the kids. For dinner we went back to the mall to a Turkish restaurant with one of the largest seating tables we have seen. It was our whole team, plus 26 members of the Moiana and Bila families. It was a lot of sharing and laughing, we had a great day of family building. Tomorrow we get to split into 3 teams and preach at 3 different churches.
